Osmoease Powder

Each sachet contains 2g Polyethylene glycol (PEG) 4000.
30 sachets per box.

Osmoease is an osmotic laxative used as adjunctive therapy for constipation in cats and dogs. With repeated use, it increases faecal water content and softens the stool to promote easier defecation. Its laxative effect may be observed within one hour of administration. This non-absorbable, flavourless, and non-toxic compound can be easily mixed with wet food.

Give any oral medications at least 1 hour prior to Osmoease to ensure adequate absorption. Add OsmoEase into wet food or dissolve in liquid before administration. The following dose may be adjusted for long-term use according to clinical efficacy or the size of the animal.

- Cat/Small breed dogs : ½ sachet (1 g), 1–2 times daily
- Medium breed dogs : 1 sachet, 1-2 times daily
- Large breed dogs : 2 sachets, 1-2 times daily

- Do not administer if gastrointestinal obstruction, retention, or perforation is suspected.
- Monitor hydration and electrolyte status, and intervene as necessary with long-term use.

Side effects
Vomiting, nausea, cramping, subclinical dehydration, and diarrhoea—particularly at higher doses—are rare.
