Each ml contains 30mg Benzoyl peroxide.
Benzodyne is a bactericidal shampoo that has strong degreasing and follicular-flushing properties. It is effective against oily dermatoses, pyodermas and furunculosis or as adjunctive therapy for generalised demodecosis and Schnauzer comedo syndrome.
1. Trim or clip dense coats to improve product penetration and ensure even coverage.
2. Wash with a regular shampoo first to remove dirt and organic debris.
3. Shake the bottle well before use.
4. Apply Benzodyne and leave on for 5–10 minutes before rinsing.
5. Use twice weekly, then gradually reduce the frequency as required.
- Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth.
- Transition to milder shampoo to prevent over-drying as skin condition improves.
Side Effects
- Rare adverse effects, such as erythema, pruritus and pain may occur with prolonged use.
