Each ml contains 20mg Chlorhexidine digluconate & 20mg Miconazole nitrate.
Hexicozol is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial effective against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, and it also provides antifungal activity against yeast infections.
- Dogs: For the treatment and control of seborrhoeic dermatitis associated with Malassezia pachydermatis and Staphylococcus intermedius.
- Cats: As an adjunctive treatment for ringworm caused by Microsporum canis.
Dogs:
1. Trim or clip dense coats to improve product penetration and ensure even coverage.
2. Wash with a regular shampoo first to remove dirt and organic debris.
3. Shake the bottle well before use.
4. Apply Hexicozol to the affected areas and leave on for 5–10 minutes before rinsing.
5. Use twice weekly, then gradually reduce the frequency as required.
Cats:
1. Trim the coat as needed based on the cat’s condition.
2. Bathe twice weekly until coat brushings test negative for Microsporum canis.
3. Do not continue treatment for more than 16 weeks in total.
