Pyranox 4.54 mg/ml Suspension

Each ml contains 4.54mg Pyrantel pamoate.

Pyranox is indicated for the removal and prevention of large roundworms (Toxocara canis and Toxascaris leonina) and hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum and Uncinaria stenocephala). It may be administered to puppies, adult or pregnant dogs, and lactating bitches following whelping.

- Treatment of roundworms and hookworms: 5 mg/kg, repeated every 2–4 weeks with faecal examinations.
- Prevention of Toxocara canis reinfection: 5 mg/kg at 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, and 10 weeks of age; administer to lactating bitches 2–3 weeks after whelping.
- Adult dogs in high-risk areas: monthly treatment.
- Administer as a single oral dose, either directly or with food.
